Starting Line-up of the 11th Match-Day: Sporklub First Volleyball League (Men)

The Team of the Match-Day highlighted players who combined efficiency with composure in decisive moments. Vid Ranc delivered an outstanding all-round performance, while Črt Bošnjak provided stability on reception for Calcit. Carlos Santana Charles dominated as opposite, particularly in tight finishes, and the middle blockers Pavlović and Fink impressed with their serving impact and attacking efficiency. Nejc Najdič once again justified his selection as setter with a strong all-round con

Outside hitter Martin Kosmina finally converted his consistently strong performances into a team victory for Krka, despite being heavily targeted by Calcit’s serve. He delivered a balanced display in reception and attack, while Dino Vinkovič again impressed on the wing. In the middle, Danijel Koncilja and Rok Jerončič stood out once more, with Tonček Štern dominating as the opposite. The eighth week delivered a convincing win for ACH Volley Ljubljana against a weakened i-Vent Maribor, a five-set thriller in Kanal, and a remarkable comeback by Panvita Pomgrad in Kranj.

Starting line-up of the seventh match day

We watched the derby of the matchday in Kamnik, where Calcit Volley faced i-Vent Maribor. The home side badly needed a win; a second consecutive defeat in their own hall would have been a very poor springboard for the rest of the season. After a convincing first set, they eased off in the second, but in the third and fourth sets coach Rozman finally found the right starting six. Črt Bošnjak has now become a regular member of the team of the matchday, and this time he was joined by libero
